We use reusable rags instead of paper towels, whenever possible.

My favorite green cleaning products have been around forever - baking soda and vinegar (not necessarily together). Cheap, safe, and always available in the kitchen!

Everyone, thanks for your tips, they're so helpful!

I love Seventh Generation products, and Dapple cleaners! I never hesitate to use them on my son's highchair tray as they are all natural plant based cleaners.

I love to use Cream of Tartar as a degreaser, a sliced lemon in a coffee mug of water to completely degrease and disinfect my microwave, salt is a great disinfectant. Use a bowl of salt in the air to disinfect germs or in a hot pot of water. I also love to use Holy Cow, they are a great product and green and totally safe for kids and every cleaning chore you can think of, this is the ONLY product I buy.

You can buy all green cleaning supplies from a place in Idaho called Melaleuca. I am just in the process of switching to them. I am not creative enough to make my own, but I am all about using products that are not going to be a danger to my kids.
